Episode No 7 Review And Recap 

Stargirl has so far been a series that has done well to flesh out its world and deliver an enjoyable slice of superhero action. As we hit the halfway mark of the series, Stargirl continues to lay the groundwork for the final showdown to come, while ending things on a mighty cliffhanger at the end.  

 Stargirl episode 7 opens with Courtney and Pat dancing around superhero secrets with their family while Henry stays with his still comatose Dad. At school, the four heroes go to their classes separately and agree to meet later that day for more "JSA stuff".

  In chemistry class, Courtney is paired with Cindy for a test, while Henry begins to demonstrate some of Brainwave's abilities, hearing the ideas of his fellow students to help him with test questions.

  After school, practice begins in Pat's garage, but Courtney's eagerness to prove herself and rally the troops behind her causes discord in the group. Training is still incomplete, and the future of the JSA working together hangs in the balance.

  Back at home, Cindy goes down to the basement where she listens to the Injustice Society discussing the new JSA members in town. He then confronts his Father, the Dragon King, and demands to be a part of the Injustice Society, but he refuses, saying that he is not ready.

  That evening at school, various students and parents participate in a big game. Considering how much time she's been spending with Pat recently, Courtney starts fighting with her brother. Before long, Cameron asks her to dance, but given that he has plans with Cindy, she bails on him for now, but promises to reschedule for another time.

  However, Courtney is distracted and heads off on her mission, watching a secret door open in the principal's office.  

 Dressed in costume and staff in hand, Courtney enters, but this sets off alarms in the Dragon King's lair. When this happens, Cindy realizes that Stargirl is nearby while in the basement and puts on her own outfit to prove herself to her Father.

  Cindy Courtney and the two fight in different hallways at school. After punching her in the face, Courtney watches in horror as Cindy has the ability to recover. Pat senses that Courtney may be in trouble after she doesn't show up, prompting her to set off and find him.

  Just as things look bleak with Courtney, the janitor rescues her from her unfortunate fate. From the shadows, she watches as Pat comes into the room shouting her name. Cindy meanwhile is in the shadows, but she can almost hear Pat calling out to Courtney.

  As the camera pans up, we're treated to big question marks about where this could go next.

  Review Writing

 She'll probably hear Pat yelling Courtney's name, so it could be pretty damning if Cindy brings it up to the other villains.

  With little screen time for Beth, Yolanda, and Rick, many episodes focus on Cindy and Courtney's simmering character drama. It's also really nice to see Courtney's strained relationship with her brother, and it helps give the show a little more depth and raises the stakes for everyone involved.

  Given the cliffhanger ending, you'll almost certainly be jumping back into this one next week to find out exactly what happens next. For now, Stargirl bows out this week with another solid episode.
