Episode 2 Recap 

Episode 2 of The Glory begins with Dong-eun tracking her past abuse online at a cyber cafe. Lee Sa Ra is an artist who likes to rise. Choi Hye-jeong is a flight attendant and Jeon Jae-joon owns a store called Siesta. He is in a relationship with Yeon-jin, who is about to marry another man.

  Later, he meets Gu Seong-hee (a girl he met while working at a factory before going to college). Dong-eun works as a tutor, and he reveals to Seong-hee his intention to take revenge on his gang. bullies. Seong-hee doesn't think revenge is a good idea, but she's willing to help Dong-eun open a new Instagram account to follow the gang. Dong-eun plans to take her revenge one step at a time and is not ready to let her go.  

Dong-eun doesn't have it easy, dealing with spoiled rich brats at her tutoring job. One of her young male clients tries to flirt with her so she ends the session and cancels the contract. While leaving the house, he faints outside and is taken to the hospital.

  At the hospital, he meets Joo Yeo-jung, who tries to help him, but she leaves the hospital. Joo Yeo-jung works as an intern at a hospital and is worried when the doctor returns with the results of her tests. He learns that Dong-eu is anemic and that he went without a prescription.  

  He doesn't approach her at first, but Dong-eun realizes he's following her. One day he asks her about it and she tells him that she's been following him and that she should take better care of her health.

  Yeon-jin gets married in a lavish ceremony and Dong-eun secretly watches the ceremony. On the other hand, Dong-eun and Yeo-jung begin to grow closer, and he offers to teach her how to play Go. However, Dong-eun breaks up with him after learning the basics of the game.

  2015

  In 2015, Dong-eun passed the Teacher Qualification exam after her second try and Yeon-jin gave birth to a baby.

  2021

  Yeon-jin is happily married and still lives in Semyeong. To celebrate her birthday, her husband gives her a new pair of green heels (similar to the ones Dong-eun wore when she first met Ha Ye Sol).

  Her husband is not happy to hear Hye-jeong gossiping about Yeon-jin's past, and Yeon-jin promises to deal with it. Yeon-jin and Sa Ra meet up with Hye-jeong and put her in her place.  

 Meanwhile, Dong-eun collects trash from his enemies, and he comes across a very interesting revelation.

  2022

  Yeon-jin still works as a weather broadcaster. Yeo-jung misses playing Go with Dong-eun. Elsewhere, Dong-eun runs into Myeong Oh while shopping at the Siesta store. Dong-eun tells him that he’s been thinking about her lately. She offers to buy Dong-eun the shoes she's wearing and invites him to have a drink with her. He brags that he almost owns the store, even though it belongs to Jae-joon, and he’s just a businessman.

  Dong-eun prefers to drink coffee. While they're talking, Myeong Oh gets a text from one of the staff, letting her know that Jae-joo called wondering why he still hasn't completed the task he gave her.

  Dong-eun teases Myeong Oh about being Jae-joon's little errand boy and tells him that there is a way to stop Jae-joon from being a businessman.

  Teacher Kim Jong-un is now old and is now in a nursing home. Their conversation is interrupted by a call from the realtor at Semyoeng Estate. He informs Dong-eun that there is a vacancy in the apartment he wants to rent.

  Dong-eun is spotted by an employee working for Yeon-jin secretly trying to steal their junk. She asks Dong-eun to kill her husband in exchange for keeping quiet about the trash.  

Episode Review

  The ending in this episode offers quite a twist; Is Dong-eun really capable of killing and why does this woman want her husband dead? I'm curious to find out what Dong-eun tells Myeong Oh and if she'll fold according to his plans.

  Second, he befriended the son of teacher Kim Jong Moon, but what is his end game when it comes to him?

  Currently, Dong-eu's revenge plan is unclear. There are a lot of moving pieces he's just starting to juggle. They say the sweetest revenge takes time. I hope the plan goes smoothly, karma is long overdue for these people.
