The Hangover Part II Plot Synopsis

  Much to Stu's dismay, the group decides to have a bachelor party. As expected, the party falls apart. The next morning, the three wake up to find Stu's son-in-law, Teddy, missing. Clueless, the trio sets out to find Teddy as they uncover moments from that night they can't remember.

  What happens after arriving in Thailand?

  Stu will marry Lauren in Thailand. Lauren's brother Teddy joins Stu and his friends at the airport against Alan's wishes. At the dinner rehearsal, Lauren's father expresses his disapproval of Lauren's decision to marry Stu. Later that night, the group—along with Teddy—have a few beers and marshmallows by the campfire to celebrate Stu and Lauren's union.  

 The next morning, Phil and Alan find themselves dizzy in a strange hotel room. They find Stu in the bathtub with a tattoo of Mike Tyson's face.

  As Stu freaks out, the group is distracted by a capuchin monkey who appears friendly to humans. Phil gets a call from Doug, who is staying at the resort after leaving early. Phil finds Teddy's severed finger while explaining the general situation to Doug.

Chow Condition

  The three find Chow under a pile of clothes. Alan reveals that he invited Chow to party with them. Chow informs them that he is taking them all to Bangkok and in other words they are having fun.

  But before he can detail the story of the night, he dies after snorting a greasy line of cocaine. Completely enraged, the three hide Chow's body in the hotel's icebox.

  The Hangover Part II

  What happens after they leave the hotel room?

  Doug tells Phil that Teddy is at the police station. The trio arrive at the police station, but what they find is Teddy, an old monk sworn to silence.

  The three go to a tattoo parlor where Stu gets a tattoo. The tattoo artist shows them a video of them rioting in the market street. Later, Alan goes to a Buddhist monastery, where he sees their time from the night before.

  Based on Alan's memories, the group goes to a strip club to look for clues. They meet a transgender woman who they don't know much about, but who reveals that she had sex with Stu. Outside, the trio are attacked by Russian mobsters, who shoot Phil in the arm and take the monkey.

  After the elephant is treated, Alan admits that he drugged Teddy with some of the marshmallows they ate in an attempt to calm him down. Stu loses it and attacks Alan in frustration. While Phil tries to break up the fight, they see what appears to be an address and meeting time in Alan's stomach.

    The three return to the hotel to look for the password. To their complete shock, Chow is still alive.

  What will happen next?

  The trio is informed that the bank code is stored in a vest worn by the monkey. They steal the monkey from Russian mobsters and get the code. The next morning, the three meet with Kingsley to finalize the exchange deal.

  But before anything can happen, Interpol agents arrive and arrest Chow. Kingsley becomes an undercover cop. When asked about Teddy, he denies any knowledge.

  Where is Teddy found?

  The three return to the hotel, where they find Teddy in the elevator before he can reach it. They pick up Teddy and return to the wedding reception on Chow's speedboat.

  Upon his arrival, Stu manages to win Lauren's father's respect with an impressive speech - dispelling the myth that he is restless and boring. Alan gave Stu a surprise wedding present in the form of a musical performance by Mike Tyson. Continuing the ritual, they agree to look at the pictures from the night before deleting them.
